Children reading the Right Choices Bible in Egypt

“God has called us to distribute His Word to families in what we call the Bible-desert-land.”

— Sami, Cairo

Middle East Spotlight

Bringing Light to the “Bible-Desert” Lands

In regions described as “Bible-desert-lands,” traditional church communities and standard evangelism tools are often completely out of reach. When parents are naturally reluctant to open a standard Bible or step through the doors of a local church, reaching the household requires a creative, intentional approach. Sami, a strategic publisher based in Cairo, Egypt, discovered that sharing illustrated Bible storybooks with children breaks down these walls, allowing the Holy Spirit to convict the hearts of parents as they read along together. Through Sightline Global Initiatives, we are deploying the unique Right Choices Bible—a resource containing 66 foundational scripture accounts focused on practical character decisions and their spiritual outcomes. To cross cultural boundaries, the book features dynamic Arabic QR codes that stream video narrations of the literal words of Jesus. Currently printed in 35 languages, this vital work continues to transform unreached families by anchoring them in a life with Christ.

East Asia Spotlight

Empowering the Underground Shepherds

Across closed and restricted regions in East Asia, fresh seminary graduates face staggering weights, instantly inheriting underground congregations stretching into thousands of hungry souls. Officially, leaders like Pastor Li* shepherd one community, but unofficially provide leadership for 60 scattered mountain and city gatherings. To prevent these rapidly growing roots from scattering under heavy cultural misinformation, Sightline’s Seminary Book Gifting Project steps directly into the gap. By placing over 660,000 foundational Christian apologetics tools, like Evidence That Demands a Verdict, in the hands of 30,000+ local students, we ensure underground leaders no longer have to lead empty-handed.

Theological Books Distribution in East Asia

“These are the only materials we have to help us serve congregations with deep needs.”

— Underground Pastor, East Asia

Cambodia Gathering Context

“The Lord is close to the brokenhearted and saves those who are crushed in spirit.”

— Psalm 34:18

Southeast Asia Spotlight

Eternal Treasure Amidst the Rubble

In Cambodia, a nation where only 1% of the population currently follows Jesus, a vibrant, counter-cultural church has taken root inside a local city dump. Weekly, two hundred men, women, and children who survive by collecting discarded trash gather to worship inside a fragile bamboo structure rising out of the rubble. When Sightline speaker Young Lee stood among them to preach the historic, physical reality of the resurrection, real hope sparked transformation, leading eight people to surrender their lives to Christ that day. Through your support, More Than a Carpenter is now being printed directly in the Khmer language to give these new believers concrete truth they can pass down for generations.

Europe Spotlight

Reaching Dynamic Classrooms & Hospital Beds

Across Europe, Sightline is tailoring specific strategies for sharing the Gospel globally across highly contrasting cultures. On the university campuses of post-communist Albania, where known believers expanded from just 16 people in 1992 to over 30,000 today, Cru ministry staff deploy evidential booklets daily to give clear answers to seeking, modern students. Concurrently, in the heavy darkness of war-torn Ukraine, front-line chapters step directly into hospital rooms where wounded, traumatized soldiers lie waiting. By placing more than 4,000 Ukrainian copies of Josh McDowell’s narrative piece The Witness directly into their hands, we provide an authentic lifeline of hope to those who thought they had lost everything.
