Primary Responsibilities

Summary of Position:

The Director of International Partnerships leads Sightline’s global ministry efforts by stewarding relationships, coordinating strategy, and overseeing a team of Regional Representatives and project staff. This role ensures our international initiatives remain aligned, responsive, and fruitful—bringing clarity and hope to diverse contexts around the world. As both a team leader and cross-cultural connector, this individual bridges strategy with service and vision with impact.

The Kind of Work You’ll Be Doing:

  • Lead and develop a cohesive international partnerships strategy that adapts to local ministry opportunities while aligning with Sightline’s global vision
  • Oversee, coach, and support a team of Regional Reps and a Project Coordinator—cultivating a spiritually vibrant, collaborative culture
  • Develop systems for project management, goal setting, reporting, and cross-functional collaboration
  • Build and steward relationships with international Cru leaders, publishers, and ministry partners
  • Represent the International Partnerships team within executive and cross-departmental discussions
  • Track and communicate global impact through story gathering, project updates, and strategic reporting
  • Provide excellent, timely service to partners—ensuring ongoing connection, responsiveness, and trust
  • Identify opportunities for ministry expansion, resource distribution, and global storytelling
  • Guide new partnership development while strengthening long-standing global relationships
  • Lead internal rhythms including weekly team check-ins and monthly department meetings
  • Collaborate with Development to create compelling stewardship reports for donors
  • Contribute to Sightline’s spiritual formation culture through modeling prayerful leadership and personal dependence on the Holy Spirit

ABOUT MISSIONARY POSITIONS
Cru is a faith-based organization, and as supported staff (missionary) you will receive a non-traditional salary (including benefits and ministry expenses) through the faithful giving of your personal partnership team. We provide extensive training and resources as you build your financial and prayer partnership team.

Non-traditional salaries are needs-based determined by factors of housing and personal expenses based on geographic location, including dependents and their ages, retirement savings, ministry expenses and taxes. Although salaries vary significantly and it’s not possible to provide an exact number for this position, a typical non-traditional salary for a missionary household is $42,600 to $80,982 annually. These salaries do not include your partnership-raised funds for health insurance, worker’s compensation insurance, or Cru assessment.
